Rich Gaspari Bodybuilder Gaspari Nutrition
Rich Gaspari was born in New Brunswick, NJ USA on May 16, 1963 and is called the dragon slayer by his huge fan base that he has developed over the years. Rich has made an enormous difference to the bodybuilding world and his contribution was honoured when he was inducted to the IFBB Hall of Fame in 2004.Rich started training early in life by lifting weights at a local gym when he was only 14 years old. Getting good results from his bodybuilding efforts he competed and won the Jersey Classic in 1982 and then decided to take it seriously all before he turned 20 years old.
Unfortunately Rich Gaspari was never able to achieve the ultimate goal of being the best professional bodybuilder in the world and winning the converted Mr.Olympia title. He placed in second place three times and kept coming back to win but was always beaten into second place.
Rich competed professionally as a bodybuilder for 16 years but in the end he gave up competing and launched his nutrition company, which was very successful. He started the company in 2001 and it got the sole distribution rights for well-known products like "IntraPro", "SuperPump250" and "SizeOn".
It is rumoured that today Rich is the wealthiest bodybuilder of all time because he has used his knowledge on bodybuilding and nutrition to make some serious money from his large fan base that he developed. But life has not been just plain sailing for Rich as he had to deal with a number of issues over the years.
From getting divorced from his wife Liz who managed to get more than half his net worth to an FDA ban on some of his products that were already on the shelf. In 2010 his company called Gaspari Nutrition was in breach of the Good Manufacturing Practice, however at this time there has still been no legal action been taken against him or his company.
Rich has also received the Muscle Beach Hall of Fame trophy, which was presented to him by the actor Ryan Phillippe as well as the boxer Shane Moseley in 2011. Today Rich Gaspari has an estimated worth of over $90 million which he made from the successful launch of his supplement company.
