Kevin Levrone Bodybuilding Biography

Kevin Levrone Bodybuilder The Maryland Muscle Machine

Kevin Levrone was born on July 16, 1965 in Baltimore, Maryland, U.S. Kevin has an Italian father and his mother is African American and he is the youngest of six children. Kevin was a born bodybuilder and won his first bodybuilding contest he ever entered which was the Mr.Maryland in 1989.

After Kevin got his Pro-card in 1992 Kevin developed a way to compete that won him 22 IFBB titles. His method was extremely unusual and is certainly not recommended for the average bodybuilder as it involves drugs. Kevin developed an usual way to compete by keeping his body 25 to 40 pounds lighter than his competition weight.

He would then start training heavy in preparation for an upcoming competition and inject a drug known as esiclene or Formebolone which works similar to Synthol but gets a more general increase in lean body mass. However the resulting muscle gain is temporary muscle gain, which is why it was so effective in peaking for a specific competition.

Kevin went on to win the Bodybuilding Grand prix 8 times as well as the Arnold Classic, which he won twice, once in 1994 and then in 1996. Kevin is the only bodybuilder to come in second place at the Mr. Olympia competition four times, which took him over a decade 1992, 1995, 2000 and 2002.

Throughout his life Kevin was always interested in making movies and acting. He got his first chance at acting when he got a part in a movie called Backlash. He acted in a few other movies over the next 10 years including Redline and 'I Am'.

In 2009 he launched The Levrone Report which was an in depth training/fitness guru blog where he outlines his own training providing tips, advice and philosophies covering a wide range of subjects. Later Levrone released the Levrone Formula Extreme Nitric Pump Blend, which is a nutritional pre-workout supplement.

Kevin has effectively marketed himself with other supplements like Hyper Response, which is a post-workout supplement, as well as Levro Shock, used for energy-boosting and taken as a pre-workout supplement. In September 2013 Kevin Levrone made an announcement to the press that he would return to professional bodybuilding in 2014.
